An awesome statement about your website
Our national philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. As the only sorority corporate sponsor, we are committed to raising over $500,000 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals every year (reached $1 million for the first time 2013!). The money raised and donated by our collegiate and alumnae chapters is used locally to support one of the 170 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide. In total, Phi Mu has contributed over ten million dollars, and countless hours, improving the quality of life for children throughout the country.

Locally, the SW MI Alumnae chapter supports Helen DeVos Children's Hospital by monetary donations as well as donating toys, crafts, and activities for the kids.  We're looking forward to touring the new hospital as a chapter as well as having sisters be able to volunteer in the hospital, hopefully bringing a smile to many faces!
The mission of Phi Mu Foundation is the lifetime development of women through the support of Phi Mu's leadership, scholarship, philanthropic, and educational programs.

Leadership ~ Through the generous support of our sisters, Phi Mu Foundation funds the development of cutting-edge leadership programming for undergraduate and alumnae members.  This includes Phi Mu UIFI, chapter consultants, Phi Mu Impact, National & Area Officers' Retreats, and Adviser and House Corporation Forum.

Scholarship ~ Phi Mu members are eligible for 95 graduate and undergraduate scholarships awarded each academic year. Through The Leona Hughes Hughes Heart & Hand Fund, Phi Mu Foundation provides emergency grants for collegiate and alumnae members of Phi Mu Fraternity who are in good standing and who experience financial distress due to natural disasters, medical emergencies, or other severe personal or family problems.

Education ~ Grants from Phi Mu Foundation support the latest in educational programming for our collegiate and alumnae members.  These programs focus on helping our members live their lives safely, classy, and smartly.

Philanthropy ~ The Foundation also supports Children's Miracle Network.
Each October, around the third Monday of the month, our chapter joins in with Phi Mus across the nation to give back in our communities in celebration of National Philanthropy Day.  In the past, we've helped out our local CMN hospital as well as supported a local organization, Kids' Food Basket, which provides sack lunches for children.

Members of our chapter are also active in numerous local philanthropies.  These include Girls on the Run, the American Cancer Society, and Gilda's club.  We often have members participating in philanthropic events in the community, such as 5K races, in support of even more great causes.
